½ c butter
1 tsp minced ginger (or ½ tsp ground)
½ red onion, chopped
1 head red cabbage, shredded
½ red wine vinegar
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
1 c water
- Saute onion and ginger in butter
- Add brown sugar, water, vinegar, salt, pepper and water. Mix
- Add cabbage and cook until cabbage is soft.
